What kind of information is collected?

There are two types of data that websites and apps can collect about their visitors and users. The first one is called personal data. This is personally identifiable information that identifies a user as an individual. The SPELL-Links WordUP! app does not collect any information from its users. There are no push notifications in our apps and we do not collect geolocation information. We may collect personal information, such as email addresses, that visitors voluntarily provide on our websites when, for example, signing up for the SPELLTalk listserv, requesting information and product samples, or purchasing software, printed materials, apps or other materials from our websites.

The second type is non personal data which doesn’t directly identify an individual. Learning By Design, Inc. may collect non-personal information about the use of its websites and apps to help us improve our services.
